karath Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 I copied it over from one of the computers i use to my main one, now the copied version doesn't start up. What do I do?
rod91 Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Flash 8? As in the plug-in/software? In any case, I guess try using this: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
karath Posted August 11, 2007 Author Posted August 11, 2007 No, Flash 8 professional, the flash making program.
smokinall Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Are you referring to Studio 8 Works, Dreamweaver Flash 8?
karath Posted August 11, 2007 Author Posted August 11, 2007 What the BBQ chicken, Dreamweaver is just Dreamweaver, I'm talking about Macromedia Flash 8 Professional.
rod91 Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Well, the problem may be that you need to register DLLs and stuff to the registry, so just copying over the program files may not work. Why not just re-install it?
karath Posted August 13, 2007 Author Posted August 13, 2007 I can't get to the DLL files...nor the registry
KaRathClone Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 I can't get to the DLL files...nor the registry OMG SO MANY SPELLING ERRORS! OMG EDIT TIME INFINITY! Same thing here. Getting it off Missuss Fwankliin's (Spelt it wrong to stop here checking her name here and linking this post to me) computers is pissy anyway... She got some random illegal software... Anyway, what I normally do is wait for the computer to start up for... Maybe 40 minutes and open Flash MX off the USB itself, not the computer. Don't open the ".exe" file, open the ".fla" files you have made. That usually works... Though not always. ---------------------------------------------- "Anybody can tell my typing because its filled with '...'s"
Mystical Chocobo Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Did you buy it in a store? If you did, just install it on the other computer. Or, download the trial. It will ask if you've bought it before. If you have, just enter your information and it'll install the full version.
