Vendetta Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 Okay so I installed the forums correctly now but when I type in the address the following happens. http://touchemall.heliohost.org/forums/index.php
awesomegamer Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 Something similar happens when I install phpnuke (though I do not have ads) I installed it and reinstalled a few times, but yes, all I get is the "<"
Ashoat Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 You'll need to request custom ad placement. Awesomegamer: you need custom ad placement too. Just because you don't have ads doesn't mean you don't have the ad script - the ad script just shows nothing for you.
awesomegamer Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 I think I understand what you are saying, but this occurred before I was ever on an ad plan... does that matter? Because as I understand it, you are telling me that if I add the ad code to the phpnuke pages they will work? : / I'm no trying to sound rude but I just don't get it. Thanks!
Ashoat Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 mod_layout is used at HelioHost to place a script at the very start of all pages. That script then decides whether or not to display ads. However, that script breaks any headers sent after it is sent, because headers must be sent at the very start of HTML.
Vendetta Posted August 6, 2007 Author Posted August 6, 2007 i requested custom ad placement and you sad my account doesn't exist.
