I've disabled ads on your site but the page is just blank now... I'm not sure ads were the cause. If you'd like me to reactivate them so you don't have to go through the ordeal of manually adding them back in, I can do that.

Yeah, weird. I was configuring the site, then all I started getting was the ad with a blank page and now just a blank page. Funny how it worked then didn't work.

 

As for the ads, I've already modified my layout and scripting to accept your script, so might as well give the custom ad placement a try.
