I want to play my xm radio from my laptop and have the audio play on my desktop speakers. Again, anyone who can give me a good lead will get 200 helions. Quote

Kyougi Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 If you want to stream music to your laptop, just set up a streaming music server. You can access it via your LAN IP with any player capable of streaming music. For audio in general, same thing, but with a streaming audio server. Quote

Quantum Media LLC Posted July 3, 2007 Author Posted July 3, 2007 I guess the point i am trying to make is that i want to reduce cpu overhead.... when i am working on a clients website i use many diff. programs at once and it slows down my system. i need to be able to play, but not necessarily control, music on my desktop speakers from my laptop Quote
