Free Hosting With Banner?

I heard from one of your members that I can get free hosting with a banner, instead of 5000 helions. Is that true???

 

If it is true how do I get the banner, and what do I have to do with it to get free hosting?

You can get Ad support hosting (150mb webspace, 1.5gig bandwidth).

 

Just go to: http://www.heliohost.org/home.html

select "plans", and click "Ads Standard"

 

They will need to "activate" your account for you. Took about a day for mine to be activated (but if you're lucky it will be quicker).

 

Just setting things up now.

Finally got email working, and I mean proper email not webmail.

Uploaded some of my files over SFTP, got a few more to do once I remember which files I wanted to upload/

 

Drawing a favicon now so that I won't get error messages filling the logs.

Why are you getting favicon error messages? That shouldn't come up unless someone happens to be using IE 5 (I can't imagine why...).

As for the hosting... 5000 Helions is for a domain. The only way to get a domain is by getting 5000 Helions. However, you can get hosting with a banner instead of Helions.
