joemama718 Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 HelioHost username: jaymaa Hosted domain: jaymaa.heliohost.org I asked on the forum if anyone knew why my phpBB2 forum wasn't working, and djbob suggested custom ad placement...=X By the way - if the main page had a side frame with the ad, and the other pages themselves didn't actually have the ad, would that be alright? (My visitors would all be visiting my main page.)
Ashoat Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 The whole web of links from your main page must be covered. What that means is that if you have a link from your main page, it must have the ads too. And if you have a link from that page, it must have ads too.
joemama718 Posted April 22, 2007 Author Posted April 22, 2007 oh...cause I'm not sure if I know how to add those ads to each page of my phpBB forum...maybe I'll just save up helions and get the ad-free hosting...i can pay 250 to do that to my existing domain, right?
Ashoat Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Yes. I'm not sure how PHPBB works, but I know IPB offers template modifying in the ACP.
Ashoat Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Our ad tracker takes about one hour to refresh account records. Your account seems fine now.
joemama718 Posted April 22, 2007 Author Posted April 22, 2007 gah the forum still doesnt work...but nevermind me for now. i just recreated everything...and its working for now. btw...could you update the phpbb version? the one with cpanel isnt the newest one, and when i try to update it i get that ad problem...
Ashoat Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 The ad problem should be gone now, try again. I just adjusted something with your account.
