Korps Commander Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 Back to the topic now....................... Djbob, I have a suggestion for Heliopolitics. Instead of five legislature members, we could have two legislature members and a speaker....................
Ashoat Posted May 1, 2005 Author Posted May 1, 2005 No, thats pretty useless. We're having five, including the speaker. Three is just not enough to vote on stuff.
majazac Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 And when the HP will open? How many more people to join?
Ashoat Posted May 2, 2005 Author Posted May 2, 2005 8, we need 25 people with at least 25 posts each.
Ashoat Posted May 3, 2005 Author Posted May 3, 2005 You can find out by clicking members in the header... we have 17 people so far. The others are pretty much inactive it seems, since we've been removed from clickherefree
majazac Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 I tried to send a form to clickherefreee but guess it didn't worked
Kyougi Posted May 13, 2005 Posted May 13, 2005 I looked over the rules, and they sound good to me, but I think instead of 10 posts required to vote, it should be 20-25 instead. Another thing I would like to suggest is that the number of members of the legislature should be adjusted according to board size =) Same with the "Member Involvement," since three will eventually be too little. - ShadowNite
Ashoat Posted May 13, 2005 Author Posted May 13, 2005 Yah, I guess you're right about the adjustment according to board size. 20-25? Hmmm... I donno, I see your point, but the point is to allow all members to vote, but not those who came later. If only there was a mod that only allowed people with a specific registration date to vote... maybe I should request...
majazac Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 I've been out for a while (my RAM memory broke and i had to wait for a new one to arrive), so how is the HP???
Ashoat Posted May 19, 2005 Author Posted May 19, 2005 still 8 more members needed (with 25 posts each)
Kyougi Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 Yah, I guess you're right about the adjustment according to board size. 20-25? Hmmm... Yes, but those who came later (20 is not that much anyway...) have a better "feel" and "know-how" of the forums and how they work, and the newer, less experienced ones will just vote and dont give a care. For the voting, you could always do them VIA PM
Ashoat Posted May 21, 2005 Author Posted May 21, 2005 You have a point there... here, ill start a vote to see which one should be picked. I'll add it to this topic.
Kyougi Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 I also think that the minimum amount of posts required should adjust along with the forum as well, because in some of the larger forums, I recall I could get 100 somewhat good posts in an hour, but that's just me.
Korps Commander Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 You know what, I'm sorry but I'm starting to think that this HelioPolitics is nothing but a dream. Even if there are no new active members, there are enough for a political system. And its obvious we're not going to get any new active members within the next millenium. CAN YOU PLEEEEEEASE START HELIOPOLITICS, DJBOB???????!!!!!!
