Kyougi Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I am using FF because I dont like Microsoft! I bet you use Microsoft Windows. Agreed. The Gecko rendering engine renders so much nicer than the Internet Explorer rendering engine. Presto renders much better and faster than Gecko.
kalamarko92 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Live from www.download.hr Internet Explorer - 70.9% - Today: +2.4% Mozzila Firefoy - 23.9% - Today: -2.7% Opera - 5.9% - Today +0.3% kalamarko92
joemama718 Posted April 9, 2007 Posted April 9, 2007 i like opera...its alot faster...and when things don't get rendered as intended i use IE. my FF takes way too long to load cause of all my plugins...but thats probably just me.
Kyougi Posted April 9, 2007 Posted April 9, 2007 i like opera...its alot faster...and when things don't get rendered as intended i use IE. You mean, almost never? Presto has an IE compatibility mode.
Kyougi Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 wait what? explain? >< Mmm, bad choice of words. The Presto layout engine has built-in compatibility for IE sites.
kalamarko92 Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 my Firefox takes way too long to load cause of all my plugins...but thats probably just me. No. Me either . kalamakro92
RelaxRelapse Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 I use FF myself because of the look. IE doesn't bother me either.
joemama718 Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 heehee. i've switched to firefox now. cause of the look too.
AverageJoe Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 The look is great. And when building a site a good rule to go by is to write it for firefox then hack it for IE. lol
kalamarko92 Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 And when building a site a good rule to go by is to write it for firefox then hack it for IE. Buliding site for FF is same as buliding site for IE, if you use HTML. kalamarko92
1337 Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 Actually, IE had bad standards support so a proper HTML document (that passes the W3C check) can mess up in IE.
