Korps Commander Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Albery Einstein, a great scientist in the early 1900s, was asked once what weapons he thought would be used in World War Three. He said, "I don't know, but World War Four will probably be fought with sticks and stones." Get it?
majazac Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 I remember that sentence... Well... He might just have said the truth
PhoenixFlame512 Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 That's true... There hava a chance of this tensions become a war. Altough all the other countries would be heavily against and try to intervane to pacify the 2 countries There would be no need to pacify Taiwan. I mean, it is China that keeps on threatening to attack Taiwan if it formally declares its independence. Taiwan would merely be defending itself, as it does not want to be in contact with China.
Korps Commander Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Was Taiwan part of China before Chiang Kai-Shek retreated there and established a democratic government? If so, the the land belongs to China by right, and the government of Taiwan consists of traitors. If not, then China has no business invading a independent country...........

No, Taiwan was at the time uninhabited. Except for a few natives living in the north. China technically does not own the land, because Chiang Kai-Shek started his own country. The government of Taiwan does not consist of traitors, nor was it before. The democratic government that Chiang set up there consisted of politicians who were forced out of Cina by Mao. And if you are against Kai-Shek, you are most likely for Mao. And if you are, then **** you. Mao was responsible for the deaths of millions of innocent people in China.
Korps Commander Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 I never said the the government consisted of traitors - I was simply giving two scenarios...................
PhoenixFlame512 Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 I never said the the government consisted of traitors - I was simply giving two scenarios................... But it's as though that was the only possibility when worded that way. Anyway, the government was in no way consisted of traitors, you of all people should know that.
Korps Commander Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 I never worded it that way. You ASSUMED it without any evidence. And why should I, of all the people, know that?
PhoenixFlame512 Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 I never worded it that way. You ASSUMED it without any evidence. And why should I, of all the people, know that? Because you have ties with the far east.
Korps Commander Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 Yes, but not the islands in the Pacific. I have no ties with people there.
PhoenixFlame512 Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 Yes, but not the islands in the Pacific. I have no ties with people there. You don't need to have ties with people in a place to have ties with that particular place.
Korps Commander Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 How else do you have ties to the place without having ties to some people there? I mean, to fully understand the place. You know more about Taiwan than I do.
PhoenixFlame512 Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 How else do you have ties to the place without having ties to some people there? I mean, to fully understand the place. You know more about Taiwan than I do. Not necessarily. I mean, it is possible for a person not from India to know mroe about India than you do.
majazac Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 Couldn't agree more with you. Just becuz somebody lives somwhere that doens't mean that he/she undestand the place... But i saw an option in Korps message. Two scenarios.
Korps Commander Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 All I was saying is that PhoenixFlame should not say that I should know much about Taiwan just because I have roots in India................. Anyway, let's get back on topic...................
