Wordpress Error, Can't Select Database

I have been trying to install Wordpress on Johnny (manually without Softaculous).

 

When I try to run install.php I get this error:

 

We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the bjarne_mongo database.

• Are you sure it exists?
  
• Does the user bjarne_dion have permission to use the bjarne_mongo database?
  
• On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_bjarne_mongo
  

 

On points one and three, yes it does exist and the database is named correctly (prefixed by username).

 

Do I have a way of checking permissions? The permissions should be correct as I let the user have all privileges and I followed this guide too: https://thecustomize...-by-step-guide/

 

 

Is there a way to access the MySQL command prompt so I can do some debugging?

 

Is there a way of checking the permissions for bjarne_mongo ?
