No Ruby On Rails Apps Run

Whenever I try to run any RoR app (even if it was newly created and not modified with my own code), it says 'The following Ruby on Rails application was started: <app name>', but then I press 'back' and the app is listed as not running (which is true). There are no errors. What could be the problem?
