klaush
Thanks Byron. I was thinking… what if I unpark my domain name and then use again the Change Main Domain script in heliohost home page? Would that disable the cts-enlinea.heliohost.org URL?
Byron
You could do that but your site would be down for another 24 hours. If you want to unpark your domain (ctsinmobiliaria.com), then I can rename your domain for you but it's still going to take 24 to 48 hours to resolve. klaush
I can cope with the wait as long as my site stops showing duplicated in search results. Is there any way to make the process last no longer than 24 hours? Let's get started then. EDIT: I just unparked my domain name ctsinmobiliaria.com and removed all redirections. I would like my main domain name to be ctsinmobiliaria.com What should I do now? Thank you
Byron
It looks like you've already taken care of everything. Did you already use the domain name change change script? I'm seeing your domain name as already being changed.
klaush
Byron, yes I did it shortly AFTER I edited the previous message. I thought you might not be online during the weekend, so I decided to go ahead and run the script to see if I could buy some time. Hopefully it will start resolving by monday. I also hope cts-enlinea.heliohost.org will no longer be enabled for my site, so it stops showing duplicated in search results. Thanks
Byron
Your site is working for me (ctsinmobiliaria.com). If the old domain is still showing up in the search engines, that's only because they (search engines) would need to update their database. klaush
Yeah, I can see it fine too! It's working! And the old domain is no longer active. I'll see how it behaves in the next few days. And yeah, it's up to Google now to update its results. Thanks for everything
