I Need Help Regarding Settings Of Smtp Server To Send Emails To Subscribers

hello friends,

I just created site with heliohost. my requirement is to send the thanks mail to subscribers to my website but i dont know how to configure the smtp mail server on heliohost. please give solution as early as possible.

I'm not quite understanding exactly what you wish to accomplish. Are you trying to create a mass mailing list, like a newsletter? Or are you sending a thank you email after someone submits information through your website? Also a link would be useful to what you are trying to accomplish.

AS you want to send Thanks email to your Subscribers.. I would assume that you have a list of emails with you maybe in CSV file.<br />

You can do this in 3 ways, All thanks to heliohost.org awesome service.</p>

<li>A CGI script <img alt="" class="bbc_emoticon" src="http://www.helionet.org/index/public/style_emoticons/default/wub.png" title="" /></li>

<li>Wordpress with <a href="http://wordpress.org/plugins/newsletter/">Newsletter plugin</a> (this would be easy to set up if you don't wanna get your hands dirty.. <img alt="" class="bbc_emoticon" src="http://www.helionet.org/index/public/style_emoticons/default/tongue.png" title="" /> )<br />

I think it would be a cake walk for you to setup WP & use the plugin.. there are many other options that you can you just search the WP plugin database.<br />
