[Answered] Using .tk Domain

Hello!

I want to use a .tk domain for my site.i've registered my domain with dot.tk.

What to do next?

1. Login to my.dot.tk

2. Go to domains

3. Click on modify for your domain

4. Select Custom DNS (farthest option on the right)

5. Enter ns1.heliohost.org in the host name box

6. Enter ns2.heliohost.org in the second host name box (below the first)

7. Leave the IP Address boxes blank

8. Click on the Save Changes button

 

Give it up to 24 hours for changes to propogate. Unfortunately with free .tk domains it can take up to four days (96 hours) for changes to propogate. At least it has in my experience.

 

Once your NS records are set and propagated, you then may create an addon or parked domain in cPanel.
