[Answered] What Are Default Mx Record For My Site?

Hi

I am so sorry if my question is too basic.

I am using ZOHO MAIL as my mail server but I wanted to set a backup mail Server with lower priority also (a college homework) but I do not kow my Heliohost Default MX Records.

if my site is yami.us then is it going to be mx1.yami.us and mx2.yami.us or something completely different?

Also if my main mail server is ZOHO MAIL (remote mail exchange), and I want to use my Heliohost Default MX records as lowe priority (backup), then should I set Heliohost MX Records as Local mail Exchange or Backup Mail Exchange?

(again sorry, there was no info about it in Wiki)

As you can see here: http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/php/tools/dns_records.php?domain=yami.us&rec=MX Zoho MX records are currently set for your domain. To set HelioHost as a backup server, simply add a new record with whatever priority and host name of yami.us. Ensure that you either have the same email addresses set on Zoho and Heliohost, or a catch-all set on Heliohost, so that in the event of your lowest priority record ever being used, mail isn't bounced back.
