I don't know where all the traffic comes from, but it's been shooting to the roof for the last weeks. Was it any specific part that caused the overload? Thank you in advance, you're the best in this business. 1
Ice IT Support Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 You were indeed suspended for high server load. Please note this is your second suspension, and a third for high server load may be permanent. If your site brings in so much traffic, it may be best to look into paid hosting. Your account has been unsuspended. 1
crazymonkey Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 I bought a non-steam version of Gmod because i have problems with my steam connection....so when i need a addon for this game i go to Gaddons.org..... but today when i searched for gaddons.org something happend and now it says that thing : HELIOHOST ACCOUNT SUSPENDED Ahoy! You're seeing this page because we, HelioHost, have been forced to suspend this site. This may be because: The account was taking up too many system resources. Because HelioHost is a free webhost, we have many accounts on our servers. If one account is using too many resources it slows down the server for everyone. Therefore, we are careful to suspend any account that is using more than its fair share of CPU cycles and memory. Note that more often than not, a HelioHost account's overuse is caused by running cron scripts too often. Other causes include running resource-intensive scripts, such as proxy software. The account has become inactive. If the control panel of a HelioHost-hosted website is not accessed for a period of one month, the account is declared abandoned. If you are the webmaster of the site, you can visit this page to reactivate your site. The webmaster broke the Terms of Service The Terms of Service is a list of rules which the webmaster agrees to follow when signing up for an account. This list disallows, among other things, the use of this account to host pirated material, pornography, or illegal activities of any kind as defined by the State of Washington and the United States of America. If you believe this account has been suspended in error you are welcome to create a thread in the support section of our forums, HelioNet.Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you,The HelioHost Staff

toxicious Posted July 1, 2013 Author Posted July 1, 2013 You were indeed suspended for high server load. Please note this is your second suspension, and a third for high server load may be permanent. If your site brings in so much traffic, it may be best to look into paid hosting. Your account has been unsuspended. Thank you for being understanding. Yes I have been looking at paid hosting, I will migrate at the latest when I launch the rewrite. But now I see that I maybe need to do it before.Anyway, the site is still suspended? Either you just forgot something, or it got suspended again the second after (I assume you use a bot that checks this?) :(/&--#62; EDIT: As soon as you unsuspend me I'll be doing a transfer to HostWinds (no offense to you guys, I'll write a thank you post when I have successfully transferred. EDIT2: The site is now unsuspended, thank you 1
