igotyou Posted June 9, 2013 Share Posted June 9, 2013 So i just reccently got acsess to my control panel on the johny server(however my account still needs to be activated, whatever that is), now i was messing around with mysql, and just after the account was setup, phpmyadmin was working just fine. However after i imported a databse into it, i have recieved this error every time i try to start it: Error SQL querySET CHARACTER SET 'utf8';MySQL said: #1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) Now the mysql database must be working, because i can still connect remotely trough a client that perodically inserts some values into the database.
