Hi,

What with the regulations in the EU with cookies, I wondered what (if any) cookies heliohost creates when visiting my site? My site isn't using cookies at all itself (though a fair amount of session variables), but we should abide by the EU regulations. So, what will our users gain? What are they for? and is there a standard wording you would use to advise users of the heliohost cookies?

We don't have any ads for user sites, so cookies would otherwise have to be injected into your site's code by us, we don't do sleazy stuff like that. We'll never mess with your site's code unless you post for help with it here or even look at your account's content unless we get a report about illegal/inappropriate content/actions from it.

If you go to the News forum, a pinned topic is us abiding by that law, but again the cookies mentioned apply only to our users who access our cpanels or visit either this site or the home site, heliohost.org.

Thanks, what you say was what I thought, but I wanted to be absolutely certain... I wanted no claims that I was leaving cookies I didn't know about. Thanks for the response.
