[Answered] Connecting to Postgresql

I tried to login using pgAdmin III:

with the following data:

 

host: johnny.heliohost.org

port: 5432

 

user: account

password: **************************

 

 

 

PS: The only thing that seemed that could be wrong is the pgAdmin version (as I don't know if it still support PostgreSQL 8.1.23)

Why should it be localhost? I am trying to connect from my computer to johnny.

 

Is it possible to connect from my computer to postgresql ? (remote conection)

 

I didn't like much the phpPgAdmin, so I thought that I could use the pgAdmin on my machine to do this connection.

Looks like there was a port issue that has been resolved. Your host name was correct, I thought you were connecting through cPanel. Try it when Johnny's issues are resolved and let us know if you have problems.
