funmobi Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 hello. i'm new user on here.i'm just want ask. can we rename cpanel login url for security reasonfrom default urlhttp://mydomain.com:2086/ or http://mydomain.com:2082/ or http://mydomain.com/cpanel/ or http://mydomain.com/whm/ become http://mydomain.com/newname/ or http://mydomain.com:newport/
Shinryuu Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 You can already access cpanel through the cpanel.mysite.com proxy, try it. Disregard that, my reading fails when I'm tired. you could create redirection rules on your site to give you access to cpanel from another subdomain or directory though.

HosterSlice Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 You cannot as you don't have root access.
