[Answered] Html Link Failures

The FTP upload process is working now, but I am having problems loading pages into my browser.

 

1) When I enter the domain, Firefox is not defaulting to index.html.

 

2) I can access the home level page

 

http://budsfractals.heliohost.org/FRACTALS.HTM

 

explicitly, but none of the links, clicked or images, are working.

 

I am using old HTML, but have confirmed that most code (outdated external links excluded) is correct. What am I doing wrong?

Hold the phone. I'm not sure where the problem occurred, but there is a capitalization issue with filenames. I don't know where the discrepancy originated, but I think the problem is with my data.

Hi There,

 

Linux OS uses a case sensitive policy, just rename your "INDEX.HTM" to "INDEX.htm" then it will work fine.

And just practice using ".html" in lower case.
