[Answered] Ftp Upload Problems

Thanks for the help on file location.

 

I am now having problems with FTP uploads.

 

- I logged into the root via MS Internet Exploder and reopened the link using the Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer method.

 

- I began transferring files to the images folder and it halted on a timeout.

 

- I then selected a subset of the files and attempted to upload; the process apparently stopped between calculating upload time and uploading.

 

- I attempted to check the contents of the destination folder and received a message that I could not access the server (some proxy issue)

 

- Since then I can access the root via Explorer, but cannot open folders or Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer. I am told my root is read-only and not set up for full access. My root is:

 

budsfractals.heliohost.org/

I would recommend using the FileZilla FTP client. Windows Explorer isn't the best for connecting to Unix-based systems.
