1. Is this still installed/active? See most recent below -

2. Assuming it is, where does it exist on Stevie (the binary), so I can point my admin cfg to it? I am trying to set up Quexf and need it. Hopefully this will work/is possible.

Yes Ghostscript is still installed on Stevie but I don't know the path your looking for.

/usr/bin/ghostscript ?

Thanks for reply - that gets me a lot closer: running gives me message.

 

/usr/bin/ghostscript exists but can not execute it. Please make sure you are pointing to the executable file, not just the directory of Ghostscript

It's not a directory, but it is a symlink. Try this then:

 

/usr/bin/gs

Thanks again. That helped...and hurt...

 

I think that exposed the final (potentially fatal) flaw - it is trying to call exec(), which I have seen from other posts is disabled here. I assume this to still be true for security purposes?

I think exec works for cgi but not php.
