[Answered] Cannot Receive Emails But Can Send Them.

I have configured my email account ( associated with the free domain for which I registered ) with Google apps.

I can send email by either using the php mail function in a form or using gmail but I cannot receive any email. i have tried sending emails from other ids but nothing comes to this inbox. I dont get any confirmation mails either when I use this id. for registration on various sites.

 

What am I doing wrong ? Do I have to setup the id to receive mails?

 

And yes one more issue, the mails which are sent by mail function do not appear in the sent box but when I send it using gmail it does appear in the inbox. Is it supposed to happen this way ?

Did you set up your Default address at your cpanel?

 

No emails go to the sent folder when using the php mail function.

Yes I have set up an email address admin@willkommen.heliohost.org

I think I will wait because it may take time to update the changes which I have made by adding TXT records given for google site verification.

SOLVED:I just had to wait till the records were updated. My bad
