Byron Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 That account has been deleted because you failed to login to your cpanel every 30 days. Feel free to create a new account if you like.
biofarmer Posted July 12, 2012 Author Posted July 12, 2012 Hello bryon, Could you please clearify. My english is not as good, I am from switzerland, german is my mother language. As what I did understand, accounts need to be activ, changes at least every 30 days? I did login reguarly.Even recently, I logged in to my drupal account installed at heliohost and changed content, installed some more modules and worked on the site.Thank you for more information. If i did missunderstood any of your policy, I feel very sorry.Could you please undo the supention? Thank you for your help.
Byron Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 You have to login to your cPanel every 30 days, not drupal. Your account no longer exists. It's been deleted. It's gone forever.
biofarmer Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 Dear Byron, I do not complain, you do a great job and it is a free service.Just some thoughts back to you to create more clients satisfaction. If I read through other post of this "suspended" topic, there are several other reasons heliohost suspend an account.Traffic, phishing, to much server use etc. Many of those cases, the accounts have been reactivatet. I was a good guy, nice page, very active and as I understood people need to be active to keep account.I was activ. Now you say, I logged in at the wrong place, for that I am punished and my site has been deleted! It is your policy, and obviously i did not understand the terms correct. But honestly, the punishment for what I really did wrong is very hard.Maybe you could be more tolerant on this point and first deactivate an account for 30 days before deleting the files (like that i could not have entered drupal, I would have found out what is the problem and then in the future it would not happen from my side). Please be assured, I understand that you must have a way to identify non-active accounts and you need to delete those accounts after a time. But from a users side I did not have a chance to realize that my account would be deleted, because I still could login into my website several days ago.I suggest you a suspension time of 30 days where the page is not reachable before deleting. Like this, active users have a chance to understand something is wrong. Is there any way (also paid services way) that you maybe have any backups or other means to reactivate my account?Waiting for your reply or PM. Best regards,The active guy that logged in at the wrong place.
Byron Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Our system sends out a warning email to the address you registered with seven days prior to deleting any accounts. I'm sorry but once an account is deleted ALL data is lost. ALWAYS keep a backup of your data. It's not our responsibility to keep any backups of anybody's site.
