[Solved] Ssl On Own Domain

I own a top level domain (ex: example.com). I would like to use SSL on it, so I generated my own crt file and uploaded it to the server in the SSL/TLS manager. It doesn't work. In Google Chrome I get SSL connection error and in Firefox I get the certificate file is over the max length. Any suggestions?

You need to purchase a dedicated ip. The cost would be $12 dollars a year.
