2bigpigs Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 It will show the shorter domain.Try refreshing the page or clearing your cache, The queued page often gets cached and shows even when it's ready. If you give us a link to the new domain, We can try the link for you. Quote
Veightar Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Yea, your account has been approved. Just try to log in from the heliohost.org homepage since your domain name is goingto take a while to appear due to dns propagation. The website is live and I think this problem is solved. Quote
hetster Posted April 22, 2012 Author Posted April 22, 2012 yes it has gone live now but it is still showing the long domain name.i know i have no right to ask as its a free domain so am happy either way but would love for it to show the shorter paid for name. is it because i have it to forward to my long address name in parked account settings Quote
Byron Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Don't use the redirect option at your Parked Domains from your cpanel. Remove the redirection and it will work like you want. Make sure to point your domain to our nameservers which are: ns1.heliohost.orgns2.heliohost.org Quote
hetster Posted April 23, 2012 Author Posted April 23, 2012 i have set everything up as stated and its still showing the long address.name servers must be set for it to be forwarding to the long address. do i need to reupload all my stuff to that account from c-panel or is there another setting in cpanel i need to change so the short address is the main site Quote
2bigpigs Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Yes That's what supposed to happenDon't visit your website through the long address, Visit it through the short address. Quote
hetster Posted April 23, 2012 Author Posted April 23, 2012 parked account is www.nationwidebundedtanks.com but it allways forewards to http://nationwidebun....heliohost.org/ also would i need to resubmit my site to google etc using short address? Quote
