juliusg Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I already have one active host account. Kudos to the Heliohost team for providing such a wonderful hosting service. If I would like to create other host accounts (not subdomains but separate from the first account I created) could I use my existing Helionet userID (userID in this forum). Will I be violating any rules or restrictions? Again, thanks for the nice service!
Brother Hassan Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Multiple accounts are not allowed. For more details check the link below.http://wiki.helionet.org/Suspension_policy#Duplicate_accounts 1
Byron Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Your only allowed one account per person. Sometimes we make exceptions to have an account on each server.
juliusg Posted March 28, 2012 Author Posted March 28, 2012 Brother Hassan & Byron, thank you for the clarification. But in my excitement, i made the mistake of 'jumping the gun'. I requested a new Heliohost domain yesterday: roots.heliohost.org I am kindly requesting to delete above domain. To the Helionet & Heliohost Team, please my appologies for any inconvenience. Thank you! I tried to create an Addon domain but i am getting the error below: Error from park wrapper: Sorry, subdomains of the hostname cannot be parked. Assistance please.
Brother Hassan Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 To delete you account visit the link below.http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/delete
juliusg Posted March 29, 2012 Author Posted March 29, 2012 Thanks Brother Hassan, I tried to delete just now but I think the new account is not yet active. I will try again later. Any idea about the error response when I tried to create an addon domain
Byron Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 @juliusg: What is the name of the addon domain your trying to add? I'll go ahead and delete your roots account for you. 1
juliusg Posted March 30, 2012 Author Posted March 30, 2012 Thanks for the assistance byron. I sent a PM to you with the request details. To Helionet support Team, outstanding support
