Internal Sql Error - Not Enough Disk Space

Hi,

I'm having some problem with my SQL server, and the issue seems to be the same as this one-

http://www.helionet....my-forum-pages/

(since I can't reply there I started this new thread).

The error that I get is - #1030 - Got error 28 from storage engine

Which mean that I don't have enough free space.

When I'm looking at the Server status, I see -

Disk /dev/sda6 (/tmp) 100 %

I'm not sure how can I solve this issue.

Thanks in advance!

Kfir

I can't see the image you posted.

Anyways perhaps you have a backup script and have not deleted backups.

Thanks.

I didn't use backup script so I'm guessing the tmp directory was fulled due to other reason. ( btw - the image was just (!) error sign from the server status entry).

Do you know maybe how can I clean the relevant space in that directory? seems like I don't have access to it from the cPanel.

According to the status monitor tmp is only 22% full now. Does your script work?

When I'm looking at the "Server Status", I see the following -

Service - Disk /dev/sda6 (/tmp)

Details - 100 %

Status - (!)

I'm not sure, what do you mean if my script work?

You can open the tmp directory in the file manager. Just select the Home Directory and then chose the tmp directory.

Yeah, mine is showing 22 % full as well.

Perhaps it was a temporary issue.

Or was related to his own account's tmp directory - if there is such a thing.

I'm not sure that my /home/tmp directory is the same as /dev/sda6 . But anyway, my tmp dir is empty.

I saw another posts about 100% tmp directory (for example - http://www.helionet....3B-not-working/)

In all of them, the issue was solved by an action done by Root Admin.

I'll be glad if anyone have any suggestion, I really need my site online again :(

Sorry, my mistake :)

Well, what server are you on ? I'm on Stevie and its working fine. Perhaps its a server specific issue.

I'm on Johnny, that may explain indeed.

Then it must be Johnny related.
