Dns Zone Editor Permissions Errors

Hey, I'm trying to add a DNS Zone record, and it won't let me due to permissions.

Here's a screenshot of my advanced DNS zone editor:

 

If I could get a fix, that would be great. I'm also experiencing frequent 500 errors, specifically (but not limited to) around 30 seconds after uploading files via ftp. If you could fix that up that would be great.
