imxn Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Hello, im trying to upload my database from MySqlWorkbench, but i cant, this is the configuration im using... connection method: Standard(tcp/ip)Host: johnny.heliohost.orgport: 3306username:imxn (cPanel user)password: the one i use to login to cPanel. Connecting to MySQL server johnny.heliohost.org...Access denied for user 'imxn'@'***.***.***.*** (ip address)' (using password: YES) for the remote management i used: OS.... linuxMySQL installation Type i used fedora Linux, because i didn't know wich one to use.....Remote SSH configuration parametersthe host name: johnny.heliohost.orgport:22username: imxnpassword: mypass and there is also an error connecting to host can you give me the correct address of the host and ports that i should use to get this working please???
Wizard Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Have you tried importing using cPanel's phpmyadmin? We usually don't allow remote connections like ssh into our servers.
bdistler Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I save my database from "MySqlWorkbench" in a SQL file then import it with phpMyAdmin into my account here at Heliohost we do not have remote access to MySQL by SSH
