Fulf Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Hey there. I have a small question about HH. I registered a .co.cc domain but after a few days of research, I begin to regret this decision. A couple of antivir's are blocking .co.cc and also, Google banned it from indexing. So, I saw you have a change domain script, but is there a way to actually get a domain from you now? (*.heliohost.com) Or did I "miss" my chance? Quote
Tjoene Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 You can use that script to get a .heliohost domain.Just type in *your_domain*.heliohost.org, but don't add www and replace *your_domain*. Quote

Guest xaav Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 You can change your main domain, or you can use the "addon domains" feature to add more domains to your account. Quote
Tjoene Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 It's just .heliohost.But why don't you try a .tk domain? It's the same as co.cc, but it isn't blocked by google or AV. Quote

Tjoene Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 No they don't.You just need to have a certain amount of traffic every (3?) month. You can find the details on http://www.dot.tk/en/index.html Quote

Ice IT Support Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I read somewhere that .tk domains get pulled once they reach a certain amount of traffic for advertising purposes. I'm not sure about the integrity of that article, I just thought I would put that out there... Quote
Fulf Posted December 28, 2011 Author Posted December 28, 2011 Yes, I've also read that. 0 Credibility to. Anyway, I just transferred to .heliohost.org and will get a redirect from the .tk Quote
Tjoene Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 If you want to play say, you can add the .tk domain as add-on domain I'm using .tk to, and I don't have any problems (yet). Quote
Fulf Posted December 29, 2011 Author Posted December 29, 2011 So, I have changed it to http://relativitycat.heliohost.org/ but Chrome says it cannot find ... 'it'. I logged in in my cPanel and the domain is exactly that one. Any help? Hehe. _________________________________________ I also tried adding an addon domain and when I clicked "Add Domain" this error popped up Error from domain wrapper: CP-Wrap Critical Error (signal 11 from wrapped program)! This may indicate a corrupt admin binary in /usr/local/cpanel/bin/ I tried adding it again, only to be prompted with the Error from domain wrapper: relativitycat.relativitycat.heliohost.org is owned by another user. error. Fulf Posted December 29, 2011 Author Posted December 29, 2011 -bump- [i'm not sure if I'm allowed to do that or not, but I'd really love to be able to use heliohost D: Sorry if I'm breaking any rules and if so, please delete this post. Thank you] Quote
Guest xaav Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 We've been having that problem for a while now, and have recently contacted cPanel, so it should be fixed soon. Quote
