Mod_Rewrite Is Enabled?

I read here http://www.heliohost...features/system that the mod_rewrite module is active, but my script on the server detects is disabled and so i test with a .htaccess file and give me a error 404.

 

mod_rewrite is disabled on our servers, or is it a forgetting on that server?

mod_rewrite should be enabled on both servers. What server are you on and what htaccess directive are you using.

no no it's ok... the server has replaced my .htaccess file with another .htaccess...
