jje Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 I'd just like to inform you of a few little updates that have taken place: Disk Space Issues We are currently aware of the issues with the main VAR folder on Stevie's system. It has come to our attention that /var is now completely full, and many PostgreSQL functions are currently unavailable. There may also be other issues that are occurring due to this issue, but just to let you know we're working to fix it as soon as we can. We are currently discussing methods of cleaning up var, but it looks tricky and might involve quite a bit of downtime. We'll keep you updated about this issue, but in the meantime you can use the Disk Space Monitor created by Piotr GRD at http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/disk-space/ Website Competition It was suggested in our Customer Feedback forum hosted on Google Moderator that we place a competition related to websites. This competition is now available and users can now enter their websites at the following link; the winner will get a small reward of their own User Title on HelioNet (explained further on the main topic). It must be hosted by HelioHost however, and you can enter your sites right now at http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=10612 Thank you
cl58 Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 jje - I set up http://www.cl58services.co.cc/#hhcontest to make it a little easier to manage entries (if you want to use it - It's entirely up to you). The admin/management interface is at http://www.cl58services.co.cc/contests/ -- use the Joomla! password.

ECE KLU Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I do not know whether suggestion could be given in this forum. jje Posted October 2, 2011 Author Posted October 2, 2011 Update related to var/ djbob has just posted that the reason emails are currently not working on Stevie is because that email functions are stored in var, which is full. The administrators are currently discussing methods of fixing the issue on var. So far, var seems to be causing issues related PostgreSQL (making some functions unavailable) and has taken email offline. We are working to fix this as soon as we can, but we fear that fixing it might involve lots of downtime.
Guest xaav Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 PostgreSQL is currently disabled to avoid issues with /var.
