Tjoene
What happens if you set up an add-on domain with the public_html folder as root folder, instead of a sub-folder. Will you see the same site as your main domain? And will files be overwritten if you create an add-on domain with the public_html folder as root? Thanks, Tjoene
jje
I think a 'Parked Domain' might be more suitable for you, as I have used parked domains before on my site and it gives me multiple domains each resembling public_html http://wiki.helionet.org/Parked_domains
Tjoene
I'm currently using parked domains. But I want to use an other domain. And I prefer to keep my heliohost domain in case something happens with my 2nd domain.
Guest xaav
Will you see the same site as your main domain? Yes.
jje
When you add a Parked Domain your main domain (.heliohost.org probably) is still active. So is all of the other Parked Domains if you have any. Parked Domains all resemble somebody's public_html. When creating a parked domain, no other existing domains are deleted or affected in any way. HelioHost offers users an unlimited amount of Parked Domains. But I want to use an other domain. What do you mean by 'other domain'?
