The week before I had no trouble adding an external host by IP address. I had two of them, one for each of the two places I work from. Yesterday I tried to connect, the connection failed. When I went back to see what was wrong, the external host list was empty. I tried to add them anew (and again and again). The cPanel program always says it has added the IP address, but the list stays empty. Now, I can work around and avoid needing a external host. But still, I would like to know what went wrong.
