Sorry to bother you again. Thanks for getting the e-mail setup. I'm having problem with some people finding my e-mail going to their spam folder. I'm trying out a service https://resend.com and it's trying to authenticate the DKIM and SPF. I saw another request in this forum that is asking for those services to be activated: I'm not using a special domain, just the default bsf@jchang.heliohost.org Do I need SPF/DKIM to be setup? Please excuse my ignorance, I'm trying to learn this as I go The mailtester website flagged the following items: -0.1 DKIM_INVALID DKIM or DK signature exists, but is not valid -0.1 DKIM_SIGNED Message has a DKIM or DK signature, not necessarily valid This rule is automatically applied if your email contains a DKIM signature but other positive rules will also be added if your DKIM signature is valid. See immediately below. -1.284 RCVD_IN_RP_RNBL Relay in RNBL, https://senderscore.org/blocklistlookup/ -1.274 RDNS_NONE Delivered to internal network by a host with no rDNS This may indicate you do not have a rDNS configured for your hostname or the rDNS does not match your sending IP -0.896 SPF_HELO_SOFTFAIL SPF: HELO does not match SPF record (softfail) softfail ------------------------ The DKIM signature of your message is: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=jchang.heliohost.org; s=default; t=1724910926; bh=fdkeB/A0FkbVP2k4J4pNPoeWH6vqBm9+b0C3OY87Cw8=; h=To:From:Subject; b=GGPGUB8Js57Kql9h2FSsRnyUeCL0wEV+hM79B6b+WVCrtJ0rN4DsdYafsjYWFSi3ImaEds5kBXndnGFOHdFk6JktOwkPIFds+cmCDZaGsK4jEYnVoHb/PoRf5FUz5YcVWbuR1JK/Nl+YGqOXEGOEx9YD24xy1CqTJ3dNJr1Cpn0JfjKeFo7b3N2YAsNDyt0PFqr/xby7wtXM+tfZwmW7HVQHOkhcCQotPxZtN53xeT+p5jb2e4tpGMFFnV1a90eSgakv4RDd+UHZpJ4C2d7z//tLLBWWoSCM4QE1nQANHraa9jcDb+W5gMOKiLEdE4STENVLWGapVNOWRixVoaOijQ== We were not able to retrieve your public key. Hi. I just tried to send e-mail out to about 24 people (most of which is on the BCC list) and it states that the limit has been reached. Looks my account is still active though. Is there an additional limit on recipient per message? Thanks,
-
Thanks! I just made a donation for your troubles.

1. How many emails you plan to send per day? Typically, up to 25 e-mails a day for one or two days out of the week for individual communication. Plus 50 e-mails for the group announcements 0, 1, or 2 times a week (so 0, 50, or 100 e-mails). I requested 250 to give some buffer room. 2. Where you get the email addresses from? We ask for them when we invite them to be part of the leadership group 3. How can recipients of your emails unsubscribe? We remove them when they stop being part of the leadership group. There are no "inactive" members that will be on the distribution they will only receive e-mail if they are active. 4. Do you have an unsubscribe@yourdomain.com address set up? No, but they can just reply to the e-mail and I will receive any feedback they have. 5. Do you have an abuse@yourdomain.com address set up? No, I don't plan to set up a mailing list so that other people can send e-mails to our members through the heliohost service. I plan only to put people's e-mail address on the BCC list when I send out announcement e-mails from my heliohost account 6. Does each email have a link to unsubscribe? No. But they can just reply to me on every e-mail I plan to sent out. 7. Do you share or sell email addresses that you get? Each member gets another member's e-mail on paper. It is made clear that the information is confidential and should not be shared outside the group. 8. Post an example of the messages being sent. See above post.

Here is the example e-mail I tried to send out before. I BCC'd 42 people in addition to the 4 CC people. Everyone on there I know personally and we meet up once a week. So they are not even people who attended once and never show up again. So on a worse day, I may need to send out 3 or 4 e-mails (I imagine I sent out 1 or 2 emails, then realized there was incorrect information and sent another one). I will also be using the e-mail account for individual 1-1 logistical purposes, so I think a limit of 250 per day would suffice. If I send a message to the mailing list I create on heliohost, and the mailing list, in turn, sends it to 50 people, would that count as 50 e-mail in a day or 1 e-mail in a day? Thanks, Jacob
-
If I put multiple people on the CC or BCC list, does that count as multiple e-mails? That might explain why I reached the limit. I think I can try the mailing list feature if that was the problem. I'm using the account to manage an administration of a non-profit organization, and I use it to sent e-mail to our attendees for meeting reminders as well as e-mail exchanges with with the leadership group. But it's the beginning of the year for us and I can imagine I might bumping against the 50 e-mail a day during this period where there are lots of e-mail exchanges as we organize for the new year. Thanks, Jacob

Hi, Just wondering if the tommy machine is back up, as I had an account there and it is now wiped. I don't really need the data back (I have my own backup), but would like to re-activate my account. My username was: jchang0 I've donated via GoFundMe through paypal transaction 363337660 in April Thanks, J

It gave an error message when I tried to reset my own password yesterday. I'm able to log in with the old password today.
-
Today, the account got deactivated, and then I re-activated it, and now I can log into cpanel. (Yesterday, it wasn't deactivated yet, and I couldn't log into cpanel.) In any case, I think it's resolved.

My account is jchang0 I think the login is on tommy which I read have /var issues. It's also about to be marked as active because I couldn't log in in the past 30 days. Please re-mark at as active if possible. Thanks, Jacob
