I am trying to connect to facebook xmpp chat server. Some months ago, the code worked fine but now it does not work and it runes and runs until timed out.

I think the timeout is due to any unsupported function. Can anyone please help me to find out if any functions used in the above code is not supported by heliohost stevie server?

I need fsockopen to connect to "chat.facebook.com:5222".

I am building a facebook application which needs to connect to facebook xmpp chat server. 5222 is their port.

In official documentation of facebook, They also implemented it by fsockopen(). As, I know little about php, I have no idea if I can implement this by any other method than fsocksopen.

It is worth mentioning that like facebook and heliohost, me too take spam very seriously and I assure you that I will never use this service for spam.

Do you allow fsockopen on stevie? maybe some ports are blocked. :-( please help me to sort out my problem. Can I PM any admin about the actual port I need (maybe ports are blocked for security reasons. So I didn't post the actual port)? I can explain. It is Important. Thank you.

How does you calculate the excessive server load caused by a website?

Do you make an average for a long period? (ie, I may use the server heavily for 5 sec. but don't put any server load for the rest of the day)

Or you just check for short time and suspend the account?

I was testing some script and My website was working fine but suddenly I got "suspended account" notice.

Now it points to heliohost nameserver. But I am getting the same error message...

I tried to add an domain in my cpanel as an addon domain to my account. domain name--happybirthday.eu.org

I got the following error--"Error from domain wrapper: happybirthday.sourav1.heliohost.org is owned by another user."

can someone please explain the error and help me to avoid the error? also please explain why happybirthday is a subdomain? I tried to add an domain name. Sorry, if I sound like a newbie. :-P

Its ok. I checked right now. :-)

ns2.heliohost.org is not responsing. If it don't respond, I cannot set NS records to heliohost as my register cannot get authoritive answer from both nameservers of heliohost. They do basic check of both nameservers ate working. ns1.heliohost.org is ok. but ns2.heliohost.org is down. I am checking it for a whole day with some interval. It is always down.

I have set A records of heliohost in my cloudflare dns zone file and still heliohost is giving the same above error in my first post. :-(

Hello sir here is a problem I faced

during adding a new addon domain.

I want to use cloudflare. (a service

which caches your website content

and serves them also when your

website is offline). so, I pointed my

original new domains dns entry to

cloudflare's dns and I added

heliohost's dns entry in cloudflare.

So when a visitor types my domain

name, it goes through cloudflare and

lands on heliohost if heliohost is

online. otherwise cloudflare serves

the content.

***Now the problem is***

while adding parked domain in

heliohost, Heliohost does some basic

check about the dns. and when it

finds that my original domains dns is

not directly pointed to heliohost dns,

it doesnot allow to add that addon

domain. But actually this addition

should be valid as cloudflare's

nameserver will eventually redirect to

heliohost nameserver.

What should I do now? Please help.
