Compare this:
To what you said:os.environ['PYTHON_EGG_CACHE'] = '/home/sistyn/.python_egg_cache'
and I created .python_egg_cache (0777 perm.) directory in /home/sistyn/public_htmlidear Krydos I didn't make any mistake (I just typed it wrong here ;p , look images ) , I just removed my .htaccess file (leaved it blank like you said in other thread ) right now it work's , and i even deleted this line environ['PATH_INFO'] = environ['SCRIPT_NAME'] + environ['PATH_INFO'] from my dispatch.wsgi .
is it ok to leave .htaccess file blank and delete that line ? ty

Hi , I did all things in tutorial but it doesn't show me welcome Django page , I even downloaded djangotest and uploaded it , but nothing changed . It just give me a 500 Internal Server Error
http://exshinigami.heliohost.org/djangotest/dispatch.wsgi
my username : sistyn
my dispatch.wsgi file (0755 perm.) in /home/sistyn/public_html/djangotest:
[/color] import os, sys sys.path.append("/home/sistyn/public_html/djangotest"); ### EDIT LINE ABOVE TO YOUR SITE ### os.environ['DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE'] = 'settings' os.environ['PYTHON_EGG_CACHE'] = '/home/sistyn/.python_egg_cache' ### YOU NEED TO CREATE THE DIRECTORY ABOVE ### import django.core.handlers.wsgi _application = django.core.handlers.wsgi.WSGIHandler() def application(environ, start_response): environ['PATH_INFO'] = environ['SCRIPT_NAME'] + environ['PATH_INFO'] return _application(environ, start_response)
my .htaccess file (0644 perm.) in /home/sistyn/public_html:
RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^(media/.*)$ - [L] RewriteRule ^(admin_media/.*)$ - [L] RewriteRule ^(dispatch\.wsgi/.*)$ - [L] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ djangotest/dispatch.wsgi/$1 [QSA,PT,L]
and I created .python_egg_cache (0777 perm.) directory in /home/sistyn/public_htmli
it's kinda ridiculous , what is the problem ?
I'm rookie and getting a bit confused
