How long does it take on average for one to be able to write probably apps for facebook and google? I hear a lot of talk about Ajax and i've been learning PHP, MySQL but i'm not sure if it so the right combination?? My goal is to participate in the summer of code programme next year. Does anyone know what I should be specialising in and the specific skills i need to have?
