go to addon domain from cpanel

at the bottom you can find the domains you added from it select modify and change the Document Root to home in this case leave it empty that will direct it to public_html

 

if you still dont get it post the problem here

It is not showing any addon domains, redirected domains or subdomains. When i click on addon domains, at the bottem it says "No addon domains are configured." And is it normal if the domain doesn't have "www" in front?

It's been about 24hrs and nothing has changed.

I also have this problem. Starting From 12pm. First it was Internal server error, now it is cannot display webpage.

And this time was different than the last problem. The last problem was the out-dated joomla for me but this problem, I even tried to upload random files but it only said cannot display webpage. Is this a server side error or a user error? Oh, and it only displays the web sometimes then goes back to these errors.

You can try using 1.5, but from those errors there is a very good chance it would not work out. The reason is that the old 1.5 version required a version of PHP older than the current (<5.30), which is causing the Deprecated notices to appear saying that functions are not available. In the release of 5.30, many functions were deprecated because newer, better functions were available. When a function gets deprecated, it cannot be used.

 

1.6 might work, I'm not sure. If its compatible with version 5.30 then it will probably work. If not, then sorry but you might have to use version 1.7

 

There's nothing I can do about this, and we cannot 'downgrade' PHP just for one individual user.

1.5.23 Works Fine. No need for 1.6 Or 1.7 and I did not ask for any php downgrade. And There is no 5.30.

The other thing that you misunderstood is that you do not get the point that the extentions would not be working since they are not updated lately.

So there is no use to upgrade any version higher than 1.5.23 in these few days.

The reason these errors are appearing is because you are using an OLD version of Joomla (1.5) when the latest version is (1.7). If you are not using the newest version of Joomla your site may fail.

I've had recently tried the other versions of 1.5 and they worked. I guess it was only that file which was a quick start package. And also the template that im using is 1.5 not 1.6 or 1.7 compatible.

If you also haven't noticed, there are more 1.5 compatible plugins than 1.7. It is because 1.7 has recently came out. So even if i do upgrade to 1.7 it would be no use because my plugins and mods would be no longer working.

Google Chrome is that it doesn't have a menu bar (which drives me nuts).

Yeah, that was a little weird at first, but I stuck with it and now I love this browser. I can really appreciate the extra browser space of chrome on my laptop with a smaller screen too. It's really quite a waste of screen to have all sorts of bars and widgets and doohickeys and whatnot crowding all over your screen.

All those widgets and things could also slow your computer down. By using up more ram and maybe even take up more video ram.

Hotmail blocks spam just fine. Just set it to exclusive filtering and anything that you haven't specifically marked as safe or is on your contacts list goes to junk folder. If the statement was more along the lines of Hotmail isn't as good at automatically blocking spam like Gmail and others, then yes, I agree with that.

I agree that 000webhost is evil.

If you read the reviews about them, there are many complaints and arguments about them about there function's and if they are a scam or not.

The other thing i didn't like about them is there service. They do not usually give you the info that you need.

They also have Ftp problems.
