    Why do you prefer Ubuntu? I just recently heard about it and I did some research. I'm planning on switching to it on my laptop. This is because I'm more reliant on my desktop...Plus...my laptop isn't the best...

     

    I need to know before I change my XP to Ubuntu....is it worth it?

     

    Btw...I don't have the XP reinstall CD so I'm stuck with Ubuntu if I do it.

    OMG.....I absolutely LOVE Rurouni Kenshin....it's the best Anime that I've ever watched....

     

    Other than that...DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho

     

    Those are my top 3

     

    Yea, but it's taking forever for them to release season three. I went through quite a bit of the show without realizing it's not Anime because there are so many similarities.

    I think it starts around October...

    Safari for Windows?

    There are a lot of ups and downs to Safari Beta 3......then again....it's just a Beta....but on my desktop....I can't change my home page, but I can on my laptop....Safari "unxpectedly quits" on my desktop....

     

     

    I do love Firefox though. But it can take over 130 megs of RAM (and with my laptop currently only having 190 megs, this is not a good thing)

     

    Plus...Safari starts up a lot faster.

     

    In the end...I think that I'll stick with Firefox.......for now

    Any Nightwish AND Flyleaf fans out there?

    Nightwish is a Finnish symphonic metal band. People say that the previous lead singer, Tarja Turunen, sounded like an opra singer but I personally don't think she has the range for something like that. She has a beautiful voice nonetheless. Most of their songs seem to be in English, so you can understand them. If you go to RADIO.BLOG.CLUB, you can listen to some of their music online. I recommend The Kinslayer, Wanderlust, Higher Than Hope, Ghost Love Score, Planet Hell, and especially Nemo. ^-^

     

     

    My personal favorite is Dark Chest of Wonders =)

    Okay. I know I shouldn't ask why someone prefer something because it's not my business but I'm really curious and I've never gotten the chance to ask. RK, why do you want a hummer? Please, PLEASE tell me it's not so you can give it some killer paint job or spinning rims or something like that. The vehicle is made to go off-road so please tell me you'll use it like it's meant to be used. I hate seeing things go to waste just because people love to throw money around.

     

     

    Mmmm....I agree....I personally don't like Hummers 'cause they're gas guzzlers...but hey....if you want one...more power to ya =D

    I don't know if I'm allowed to ask this....if I'm not, just tell me =)

     

    But does anyone know where a working download link to the BadApple software is? It's supposed to let you use iTunes to sync with everything....even if it's not an iPod....

    This is a couple days old, but it does not seem to have a full solution.

     

    You do not need a program to rebuild your icon cache, RK_Web_Designs. The icon cache is rebuilt when you change your screen depth under Display Properties > Settings. Just change from 32 bit to 16, hit apply, and switch back to 32. Your icons should be back to normal after that.

     

     

    I have the same problemmm.....I tried this solution Demi:Pulse...but it's still gone =/

    ...aren't macs known to be far more stable than windows?

     

    A lot more....

     

    But I read that when the iPhone first came out....it didn't have the "phone" portion in it. =D It was very funny. Lol....it had so many other features that it just didn't have any room for the phone...so they had a recall and had to postpone the release date. :lol:

    They will ask you to do offers and stuff....in the end....you will get what they said...but you would have spent way more time and money than what it's worth :mellow:

     

    yeah that's true...i've also found sites in the past that give you a free, temporary email for those kinds of sites...it's really convenient. you just type in your desired username, click "create", and you can go to the inbox. that way the site can send you an activation link, you can click it, and never have to use that email address again. at the start of the post I couldn't remember the site, but now i recall http://www.guerrillamail.com/ as being one. there are definitely others as well.

     

    Another site is Footard =)
