I am from North America, specifically Ohio, although I wasn't born here. This is one of those place where you can live for 25 years and still not be considered a native. I actually take that as a compliment, though, because if I were ever considered a native of this town, I think I'd give up. It's got its charms, and we've been relative happy here, but too often the locals refuse to see beyond their county borders.

I can't say I have a favorite band because I don't listen to a lot of pop or rock. I'm sort of partial to the Cleveland Symphony, but if I had to choose a performer(s) outside the world of classical music, I guess I'd choose James Taylor. Or more current, The Shins.
