I like the graphics in the Metal Gear Solid series. Even when it was MGS for the Playstation, I always had admiration for the realistic scenery (even though it was not much on the PS1, but it was very good for a PS1 game).

I don't understand whats so exciting about these games. But then again, I'm not an FPS freak, Im an RPG geek.

Spice Girls (yes there was a game for them on the Playstation). It was just a music videos and you press buttons to make them dance.

No, I don't think it will ever. Maybe if like one country grows super strong and makes a clone army like in Star Wars it can conquer the Earth. But I think that our cultural differences and views and beliefs and what not will always clash. It's been happening for thousands of years, and there will always be people that cannot tolerate other people (that is bigots). So it would be very difficult for nations to unite if their view on moral and ethics is different because they probably won't agree on the same laws or even form of government.

This may interfere with some of the other posts, but philosophy generally goes hand and hand. Personally, I would love to believe there is an afterlife, which is going to commonly lead to the existence of a god or greater being due to popular/historic societal beliefs - however I do not due to the lack of scientific evidence. Until I see it for myself ("Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean its not real") I am not gong to believe in a greater force.

 

I do, however, contradict myself there because sometimes I find myself "praying" that baseball stays to the left of the foul pole, lol. But I keep telling myself there is no greater force, so in conclusion an afterlife must not exist. So my form of afterlife... picture sleeping with no dreams. It's an absense of everything. The purpose of life is to be fruitful and continue the human race. After we do that, what further purpose could we possibly have that would connect our "afterlife" with our human years.

I quite agree. When I've came to think that, I found it very depressing at first. It really is a downer to think that we have no real purpose on Earth. That we are a bunch of animals who randomly came to life for no reason. But hey, life is fun and better enjoy it while you can and that's what I try to do.

PHP-Nuke? Yeah right. I don't think so, because I've come across many website that used PHP-Nuke and had their frontpages defaced by hackers.

I dunno if it's just me or not, but I really find the "glass" theme from Apple looks really hideous. I prefer Firefox and sometimes I use Opera (its also good in its own right). I would be using Opera, but I like the little things about Firefox, like how I am able to drag a highlighted text and URL into a new tab icon, and it will automatically do a query for it.

If anything, it is a lot better than it was in the 90s. I mean you would have paid 40 or so dollars just for dial-up then. And today, you can get cable speeds for that amount. The only downside to too much people is that some ISPs, especially the cable ones, are enforcing bandwidth caps on suscribers.

I don't understand how people play that game. I tried it and gave up after an hour. It's so boring. I play MMORPGs, and I think half of the fun is making friends and doing stuff in game with them. That's what MMORPGs are about for me, socializing and having fun in game at the same time. 90% of the people that play these games are morons and idiots though.

Not only does it index pages for search engines, these web crawlers will make a cache of almost every page they visit. You can also do a query on cache, lets say the page you want to view is not working, you can look at an old version of it with a cache.

The good rock songs on the album are No More Sorrow, What I've Done, and Given Up. A good rap one is Bleed it Out. If you give Hands Held High and Valentine's Day a chance their not to bad.

I actually wouldn't mind if there had to be ads on my page for financial support of Heliohost--if only they were decent looking. These ads appear messed up on my guild site and it ruins the layout.

They were gone for a while up until a few hours ago and now they've returned.

PS1 came out in 1995, so its actually older than 10 years. I remember, because we got it when they were still costing 300 dollars.

It's my favorite, I honestly don't understand why there was a need to put it to death so early, that is, to stop making games for the PS1.
