    yes, this is well annoying.

    it goes down down every day in early afternoon (bst) for a few hours, and it has some short down times during the rest of the day....

    i appreciate this is a free service but this is a bit much

    These long downtimes do not appear to be the norm .

     

    For the benefit of the lay users , could you give us a more detailed explantion of these new long periods of downtime and what you think might be causing them?

     

    From the above comments it is clear heliohost does not intend long periods of downtime to be the norm. Could you give us your view of how long these long periods of downtime are likely to last?

    Hello

     

    I am have exactly the same problem. I am using a publish software called xsitepro and things worked fine to start with sites could be published and updated without any problem over the last several days. The software using it's own internal ftp program and today when i wanted to publish again to my live sites i got the same message

    421 50 users (the maximum) are already logged in, sorry.

     

    i doubt therefore that it is your software. I would also point out that i could access the host's cpanel manually, so i cannot see this is an issue of too many people loggiing onto the host at once.

     

    Made a post elsewhere and it has apprently been escalated.

    Hello

     

    Have uploaded two web sites without any problem to my account. They are now live using thier own domain names.

     

    I did this with my web building software xsitepro and had no difficulties.

     

    Today i tried to upload some more information to the existing live sites on the server.

     

    the software kept giving me the message "421 50 users (the maximum) are already logged in, sorry" when i attempted to publish.

     

    I have had no difficulty in accessing the cpanel of the account direclty, so i do not think the system is all blocking when i access the system manually.

     

    For some reason this host appears to be blocking my progam when i try to upload more pages.

     

    can anyone help
