  1. Sadly milano on Tommy got suspended right away, before it could even cause its usual near-zero load. Could you kindly unblock that? I hope there's nothing on your systems considering it spam to have informed (just once) my hundred-odd users eagerly awaiting the service back since August.
  2. Thanks, good work, and I am happy most could be recovered from such a crash after all! Bringing back my files and permissions went well, though there does not seem to be a bulk-upload option for the entire tar.gz archive, and paths have changed from /home1 to /home. A pity the account could not simply be reactivated with all in place, and for the donors that it took longer this way in spite of their efforts though. Noticed some (presumably new) bug when (re)creating the (not-all-lowercase) mail accounts, it throws these messages (somewhat contradictory to humans) in sequence:Error: You do not have an email account named “ALLCAPS@m...heliohost.org”.Error: The account allcaps@m...heliohost.org already exists!
  3. "All of the accounts that were on Tommy when he crashed have now been transferred back, or invited to create a new account. If you haven't received your invite, or if your account wasn't automatically transferred please let us know now by creating a new topic in the customer support forum." "That account has been backed up and then taken offline due to extended maintenance on the server that you were on." The above shown at logon suggests that in spite of a user's https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/36848-solved-donation/ , milano has not been invited back or reactivated from archive yet.
  4. Obviously now that https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/36995-tommy-is-back/ it would be easiest for me to use an invite to milano's registered (not the donation) address.
  5. As per flazepe on https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/36440-tommy-downtime/?p=161892 "Ricky/Johnny and restore your backup there. Once Tommy is back up, your account will be moved there." ...this might have worked if not for the strain on the other servers while I was offline for a few days. I understand from Luigi123 https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/36440-tommy-downtime/page-8?do=findComment&comment=164097 that I might rather wait for a hopefully-revived-soon Tommy invite (to user milano's registered eMail; another had to be used for donation) as you "cannot send an invitation for Ricky ... because Ricky server is way overloaded now." and he "wouldn’t recommend you move your account to Johnny as he is our slowest server." https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/36440-tommy-downtime/page-7?do=findComment&comment=163347
  6. For milano also hoping to be resurrected on Tommy soon a donation has been made with transaction ID 32932456AA249893G. Thanks in advance for the (re)invite, straight back to Tommy, or Ricky in the interim if rebuilding Tommy takes a few days more than expected.

    Tommy Downtime

You may be getting more individual requests than necessary just because https://www.heliohost.org/backup/ is referred to right after login but can't be found for now, but (necessarily then) just shows: No Backup I cannot find a backup for milano and h...com. You could try again, or open a ticket to see if an admin can help you find your backup. Try Again or Support

    SFTP Permissions

Perl users may wish to try 755 permissions to avoid 500 Internal Server Error on anything (incl. the directories above it) that needs to be made executable outside cgi-bin e.g. by an .htaccess starting with Options ExecCGISetHandler cgi-script or AddHandler cgi-script .pl
