Also, I noticed your email address has +johnny tacked on to it now. If you want to be moved to Tommy automatically it needs to match your old Tommy email address exactly, which didn't have the +johnny. If you don't change your email address you will be sent an invite, and then when you use it will likely fail.

 

Actually, I just received an invite for Tommy on my original e-mail (without the +johnny), the one I had used for my original Tommy account, and I was able to create an account on it.

It's been a while since there was any activity on this issue, so would it be possible to give me an update regarding the installation of the request packages on Johnny?

In the last few days I’ve received a couple of email notifications for new posts on this thread that are not appearing to me when I visit the forum...

 

I’m assuming they were removed for some reason, but, since one of them suggested that I should make a new post requesting the installation of the packages I mentioned on Johnny, I’d like to make sure if this is the case. I thought it shouldn’t be necessary because that was the original purpose of this thread, but if you feel like it must be done, just give me a heads up and I’ll do it.

Ok, everything is working fine with the new account on Johnny, but now I've come back to my original issue... According to the list provided in https://krydos2.heliohost.org/cgi-bin/modules36.py, some of the packages I was using on Tommy are not available on Johnny. Is it possible to install them? Here's the list of packages:

flask-restful

Actually, it's because vmaraujo.heliohost.org still exists in our DNS cluster. A root admin has to release that domain for you. Your forum username does not need to be renamed.

Actually, I think I'm going to need another invitation...

 

I apologize, but during the account creation process, I used the same username from my account on the Tommy server (I thought the account was already deleted there). Although I didn't get any errors when I created the account, when I try to log in I'm now redirected to a page that says that my account has been "taken offline due to extended maintenance on the server". Trying to sign up again using the e-mail you sent gives me an "Invalid Code" message.

Ok, you mention flask and you mention python 3.6 and you mention Ricky. These three things do not go together. You can do python 3.6 cgi on Ricky, but if you want to do flask or django you have to use python 2.7. Johnny has flask on python 3.6 though. I can move your account there if you'd like.

 

Oh, I had no idea you couldn't install flask on Ricky. I guess there would be no issues for me to use Johnny instead of Ricky or Tommy, as long as It would be possible to have the packages I listed (and also pandas and requests, which I didn't list because Ricky already had them installed). If so, can you, please, arrange the transfer?

 

Also, do you plan on allowing previous users of Tommy to return their accounts to it once everything has been fixed? I only ask because, according to Heliohost Wiki, Tommy has better uptime stats than Johnny.

I have some files on my desktop, but the SQLite database on the server has newer data. From what I’ve seen on the forums, a backup will be available later. Is that right?
