    about your point 2 : "2. You can restored your home directories using the “Backup Wizard”."
    Question 1: is this under a tommy cpanel session (https://tommy.heliohost.org:2096/) ? I get a "login is invalid"

    Question 2: does it means the tommy's accounts have been recreated, with the same credentials and are now simple accounts with default folders, and I can login on tommy with my regular username and password ?

     

    gc-bank.tk was a domain routing to tommy.heliohost.org (did I cut the branch I was on?) I am not sure I can read the email via https://tommy.heliohost.org:2096/

    Question 3: is the account "micou" (http://iph.heliohost.org) has simply been disabled on tommy ? can you reactivate it ?
     

     

    That account has been backed up and then taken offline due to inactivity. HelioHost has a limited capacity for active accounts, but we are very popular. So in order to make room for new active users we occasionally have to take down old abandoned accounts. We recommend downloading your backup, and then creating a new account. If you need help with anything please don't hesitate to contact support.

    I just changed the DNS from the registrar to point to a temporary MX  and  I am waiting for the DNS to propagates
    Question 4: is the the right thing to do in order to revover my account / data ?

    hopefully it is *@sniptext.com nor a mailbox that was managed by "tommy", I would be stuck this way !

    (the other issue I see with the pulling of a backup is transfer back and forth form California to Euro and back to Tommy is would be a pain with me slow line ! )

    what is the "restore" process ?
    do we have access to tommy the "old" way ... i.e. doesn't the account are recreated on tommy, or we have to do it ?

    Your backup files has being sent to your current email address associated with your Tommy account.

    I am surprised because I am don't sending video nor decoding nor proxying, I am simply formating a page with youtube "iframe"
    it might simply be a simply that I am victim of a DoS, I can try to "hide" behind cloudflare for a mitigation.

    investigate, and take action such it won't reproduce,

    first I wonder if there is a proper place to make heliohost "feature" request ?

     

    I would like to have heliohost connected to the ipfs network, therefore

    I wonder if tommy or other machine managed under *.heliohost.org can host

     an ipfs daemon (see http://ipfs.io ).

    ipfs uses 3 ports : 4001 for it own protocol, 5001 for a local webgui, 8080 for a gateway

    For this we would need to have a couple of ports punched like port 4001 such that it can be visible to the outside world, the gui and gateway interface can be routed via the normal 80 port so no need to change anything...
     

     

    if this is a matter admin resource, I can propose to administer the daemon for the community.

    let me know what is possible ?

    I want to understand, that every time my account go inactive, my IP address is blocked, would it be because my webdav access get refused while trying to sync during suspended time ?

  11. wow ... indeed that is a big load...

    would if be possible to get the account back such that I can have minimal services restored,
    I would like to have only the recently modified script disable if that sounds reasonable to you.

     

    is there are way "regular" member can check the load they are putting on the server ?

    Also if you need some admin help I could provide some of my time if necessary I am on CET time zone this might be useful for some of helionet members !

    I had my account suspended, I don't believe this is for inactivity as I did logged in in a lot this month,

    Dear Admin,

     

    I discover today that my account on heliohost.org has been suspended, hopefully this is an error

    and was there any "run away" cgi scripts ?

     

    a ) my HelioHost username is : micou

    b ) the server is on tommy

    c ) the host domain is ahe.heliohost.org

     

    if you know what was the reason of the suspension, I would be really happy to have a corrective

    action such that the situation won't repeat due to my website.
