With people like myscrnnm, people who want a media center, people who dont care about graphics vs. gameplay, "hardcore" gamers, and just plain stupid people will keep sony's gaming quadrant occupied.

Well, with prices going up, people will be buying less games, which is basically their only source of profit.

Oh, just a note, it's five hundred for the console itself, but it's probably going to be packaged like the PSP.

I never bought the bundles, though I did see some of them. I don't like the sports games that usually come bundled nowadays though.

I bought the n64 bundled with Diddy Kong Racing, some other game, and another controller. That was pimped. It was like thirty bucks cheaper than all that seperate.

sony's screwing itself with price. $500 for a console, $90 for a game, and maybe $20 for ONE controller? throw in mem cards, a few more controllers and games and most of the hard-core sony freaks will be broke in a month.

Twenty bucks for a wireless controller isn't half-bad. Two PS3 games almost amounts to a Revolution, if it's at 200 bucks anyway >_>

i speculated. i'm sure a ps3 controller will be much more than that. and i believe the rev will be around $150. but that may change.

that is nothing short of a miracle. i'd say closer to $50-$60 for good games, like they are today.

I'm pretty sure the games won't be more than 50 bucks for the Revolution, seeing as how they make profit off of console sales. The reason the 360 has 60 dollar games is because they lose too much money with their console, so they had to jack SOMETHING up. With the Revolution making easy profit, they could just stick to the lower prices, or push the prices down. That's one of the things that the Revolution is about, affordability.

good point. i never thought of that. and although my money is on high success for the rev, we can't be sure of anything quite yet.
