I was thinking of going the way of the ATI TV Wonder Elite. It's on newegg for 150, and it doesnt look too bad. Theres a lot of good reviews, but theres also a lot of bad reviews. Any thougts? lappy512 Posted November 20, 2005 Share Posted November 20, 2005 I have an ATI All In Wonder 9600; it's fairly good; here's the only thing: DO NOT BUY IT IF YOU HAVE "LEDGE" next to your video card slot, on the outside. If you are not sure, take a picture of it from the outside, and PM it to me on KL. The reason is: the "all in wonder" plug doesn't fit fully in, and my graphics are slightly jerky. Which sucks. The pictures are crap due to both my crappy camera and the fact that I was too lazy to shut it down and take it somewhere with better lighting. amhso Posted November 20, 2005 Share Posted November 20, 2005 if you have an empty agp slot, you might as well get a graphic card that has a tuner built in....it will only improve the quality of your TV or movies or whatever you're going to watch. amhso Posted November 27, 2005 Share Posted November 27, 2005 refurbished hardware is okay it's usually cheaper, but it doesn't come with everything most of the time. If it's a harddrive, sure.
